Gandia Fallas Museum, an interpretation center of the Fallas festival, offers a brief yet powerful glimpse into the richness, joy, and creativity that define this celebration in Gandia.

Inaugurated in 2008, it is an innovative museum—an original, family-friendly, and interactive space spanning 400 square meters devoted to Fallas tradition, pyrotechnics, fire, and the creation of the monuments. This modern museum uses the latest technology to immerse visitors in the culture of Fallas in Gandia, offering a dynamic and engaging experience where boredom has no place.

The museum is divided into various sections or scenes, guiding visitors through an exciting journey across the most significant aspects of the Fallas festival.

During your visit, you’ll discover the history of the Fallas celebrations, their inner workings, cultural background, and traditions. You’ll enjoy viewing traditional costumes and accessories from the 18th and 19th centuries, and even witness the process of building a Fallas monument—from the initial sketch and scale model to the final ninot (figure).

The building stands on a 3,000 m² plot donated by Gandia City Council and boasts a total built area of 4,500 m² spread across three floors. In addition to the museum itself, the facility includes a café, three multipurpose halls, lobbies, and the administrative offices of the Federation of Fallas (presidency, secretariat, archives, and management areas), as well as offices for the Documentation Center and general management. The building also features a parking area for community groups, cultural associations, and public institutions, which can be rented out for organizing events and activities.
